An 18-year-old boy, Jauan Durbin has revealed the disagreement between himself and him mum because of his cross-dressing.
He shared a screenshot of a chat with his mum.

Juaun has described the non acceptance of whom he is as hurting.

His tweet read:

“This hurts. It really does. But I’m going to live my truth until the day I die.”

Since making the post on Saturday, Jauan’s tweet has been retweeted more than 5,000 times and has been liked by more than 14,000 people.

There have been mixed reactions over this.
While a lot of people have been supporting him,there are those who agree with his mother and even those mocking him.

Jauan and his mother have not spoken or texted each other since she discovered the viral tweet.

“I believe that my mom will come around eventually,” he said. “I didn’t do this to upset my mom. Throughout the whole process I’ve tried to take myself out of the process figuratively because there’s people that see themselves in me and I want the message to go out to children that it’s okay to be you and you shouldn’t change who you are for anyone.”

Uyo bus garage: Woman slumps at arrival  As reported by a co passenger. She said the woman’s husband brought her to Lagos park alive to board the vehicle going to Uyo.He kneww the woman wasn’t very strong while embarking on the long journey. And had made arrangement with a pastor here in Uyo to pick her and commence prayers. The woman arrived Uyo alive, stepped out of the vehicle, asked for her luggage to be given to her. Couple uses son as collateral for 8000 naira Family of  Ajala Samuel a 15 year old boy thought they could briefly use him to raise  some money for some urgent family needs. But four months after he has been handled over to a Lagos trader, identified as Iya Meta, who in return gave them N8,000, the boy is no where to be found. Sources confirmed that Iya Meta allegedly loaned Samuel to some other traders on the Lagos Island, who paid even more for the boy, N72,000.  The traders were alleged to have further given him out to another family in the state. It's more like a relay race in which runners pass baton to one another. Two policewomen, identified as Titi and Funmilayo from the Ijora Badia division, were accused of harassing the family to refund the N72,000 paid to Iya Meta, failing which Samuel would be forced to work till October 2017 when the contract would expire.
