CONGRATULATIONS AFRICA!' - FRANCE WINS WORLD CUP 2018!!! When the decisive blows arrived it was the entire France squad in the victory scrum by the corner flag. Hugo Lloris, the goalkeeper, had run the entire length of the pitch. All the substitutes were disappearing under one another. There were even a few members of the backroom staff contemplating joining in, and who could blame them? France were on their way to their second World Cup and a party was already under way behind the goal where the tricolours were fluttering. Not even Croatia, with all their powers of durability, could recover from the second-half goals that Paul Pogba and Kylian Mbappé scored in quick succession to open up a three-goal lead and ensure France will soon be wearing a shirt with two stars, rather than one, above their cockerel. Didier Deschamps has become only the third man in history to win the World Cup as a player and manager, standing alongside two giants of the game in Mario Zagallo and Franz

Mark Zuckerberg becomes the third-richest in the world. Facebook Inc. co-founder Mark Zuckerberg has overtaken Warren Buffet  as the world’s third-richest person, further solidifying technology as the most robust creator of wealth. Zuckerberg , who trails only Amazon.com Inc. founder Jeff Bezos and Microsoft Corp. co-founder Bill Gates , eclipsed Buffet Friday as Facebook shares climbed 2.4 percent, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. It’s the first time that the three wealthiest people on the ranking made their fortunes from technology. Zuckerberg, 34, is now worth $81.6 billion, about $373 million more than Buffett, the 87-year-old chairman and chief executive officer of Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Zuckerberg’s ascent has been driven by investors’ continued embrace of Facebook, the social-network giant that shook off the fallout from a data-privacy crisis that hammered its shares, sending them to an eight-month low of $152.22 on March 27. The stock closed Friday

Professional mourners make a living by attending the funerals of strangers The great wonders of the world have been penciled down as seven, but it seems each passing year comes along with its own wondrous tales. In Ghana, there have been many unbelievable tales but the one that currently tops the lot is the advent of women who are contracted to cry at funerals. Sounds weird right? But no matter how weird it is, it is happening in the country and these women are not even shy to speak on camera about this chosen career of theirs. One of such women is Mrs Dokli, a widow who specializes in crying at funerals and as a result gets paid for that. This widow has managed to bring together other widows to form a team of mourners at funerals. Speaking to the BBC, Ami Dokli said she can be referred to as a “funeral contractor” because she cries at funerals for a
