Kidnappers of Lobi Stars' FC player and his wife reduce ransom demand from N50m to N10m The kidnappers of Lobi Stars FC winger, Sunday Akleche, have brought down the ransom demand from whopping N50m ransom to N10M. Akleche was kidnapped alongside his wife somewhere in Abia State on his way to Port-Harcourt to drop his wife who is a serving corps member in the state. The kidnappers in a conversation with the victim’s family via his phone had placed a N50m ransom on the former ABS of Ilorin player. Akleche is an integral member of the Lobi Stars squad that was recently crowned champions of the 2018 NPFL season. A top official of Lobi Stars FC of the Makurdi based NPFL side, who confirmed the incident to Daily Trust, on condition of anonymity, said the family of the player informed the management of the club that their son’s kidnappers had brought down the ransom from N50 million to 10million. “We are all saddened by the news here in Ijebu-Ode where we are having our ...

Some other guy brutally murdered his brother (whom their father gave cash to travel for the purpose of re- stocking their warehouse), just because he wanted to acquire the rave of the moment - Pathfinder Jeep. That same vehicle is now beta described as a coffin. I remember my whole street gathered to watch a truck deliver a very large satellite dish to my neighbor's house. Today a dish one tenth that size delivers 50 times the value and is in almost every student's room. What about the Volkswagen Santana, Mercedes Benz V boot, 505 Evolution, Toyota Crown, all overtaken by latest models of Camry, Honda, Bugatti, Bentley, X6,Acura and Infinity.... Vanity! Chief Medical Director, LAUTECH reveals the real cause of Davido's uncle Senator Isiaka Adeleke's death The Chief Medical Director, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Prof Akeem Lasisi has revealed the actual cause of the death of the Senator representing Osun-West senatorial district, Chief Isiaka Adeleke. According to the CMD, Adeleke died of an overdose of banned injections, some of which had been outlawed by NAFDAC under the directorship of Professor Dora Akunyili Lasisi, who spoke from the witness box, testified before a coroner, Mr Olusegun Ayilara in Osogbo on Monday, where he disclosed that the Chief Medical Director of Biket Hospital, Osogbo, Dr Adebisi Adenle, called him on the telephone on April 23 to tell him that Adeleke had died.
