The Fairy Tale Wedding of Taiwo and Ademola (The Groom Who Planned His Wedding Himself) It was indeed another glorious day for the Majekodunmi and Onakoya families when they hosted the wedding ceremony of their children Taiwo and Ademola. It was a union of an accountant and a medical doctor The ceremony which held at Lagos was filled with much glamour, colour and culture. There was no dull moment as the event started with the Yoruba Wedding Traditional rites at St Kizito Catholic Church Hall, Ifako Ijaiye Lagos, on the 12th of May,2017. On top of the arrangements  were the ever cheerful bride's mother Deaconess Olusola Majekodunmi and the groom's mother, Pharm Oluyemi Onakoya. Couple uses son as collateral for 8000 naira Family of  Ajala Samuel a 15 year old boy thought they could briefly use him to raise  some money for some urgent family needs. But four months after he has been handled over to a Lagos trader, identified as Iya Meta, who in return gave them N8,000, the boy is no where to be found. Sources confirmed that Iya Meta allegedly loaned Samuel to some other traders on the Lagos Island, who paid even more for the boy, N72,000.  The traders were alleged to have further given him out to another family in the state. It's more like a relay race in which runners pass baton to one another. Two policewomen, identified as Titi and Funmilayo from the Ijora Badia division, were accused of harassing the family to refund the N72,000 paid to Iya Meta, failing which Samuel would be forced to work till October 2017 when the contract would expire. Uyo bus garage: Woman slumps at arrival  As reported by a co passenger. She said the woman’s husband brought her to Lagos park alive to board the vehicle going to Uyo.He kneww the woman wasn’t very strong while embarking on the long journey. And had made arrangement with a pastor here in Uyo to pick her and commence prayers. The woman arrived Uyo alive, stepped out of the vehicle, asked for her luggage to be given to her. When the driver saw that he was weak, he offered her a chair to sit while waiting for pick-up.. the next thing she fell off the chair and died. After some minutes, The Pastor came but was told  that the lady had  dead. The man took off and disappeared. Everyone deserted her but the good Samaritan in me came alive and I decided not to leave her there just like others did. The lively wedding of Aderonke and Oluwafemi Oso One of the best feelings on earth is spending the rest of your life with someone you love, someone who gives you joy every second of the day. It was for this reason that Femi who works with Redeemed Christian Church of God water supply and Aderonke who works with a TV station, decided to get married and spend the rest of their lives together.
