OOUTH doctors begin weekend strike as Government fails to grant their request

Resident Doctors at the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital, Sagamu, Ogun State, have begun weekend  strike after their negotiations with the state government for improved pay collapsed. The doctors had embarked on a three-day warning strike over appropriate remuneration and appropriate hazard allowance et al which led to negotiations between them and the state government. It was learnt that the doctors under the aegis of the Association of Resident Doctors at the OOUTH were unable to reach agreements with their employers on some of their demands. In their   letter to  Governor Dapo Abiodun, they claimed  the state government   was  not committed to their welfare. The letter  jointly signed by the union’s president, Dr Popoola Mutiu, and the general secretary, Dr Osundara Tope, said  the association had resolved to work only week days and stay at home  during  weekends. Mercy Aigbe and Lanre Gentry reconcile  Mercy Aigbe and her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry are said to be back together after separating as a result of battery by her husband. The two of them were trending on social media like 2 months ago when Mercy released pictures of how she was battered by hubby and series of reports by Lanre denying those claims.   A video making rounds online has captured moment a man walked in on his wife feeding her alleged lover in their home.    The wife was seen fidgeting at one corner of the sitting room as the man continously disclosed that the meeting confirms all he's been hearing about his wife.    As the wife's alleged lover ignored the lady's husband and proceeded to eat, the angry man knocked down the food.    Watch the video below.......... Nigerians react as Nigerian symbol of Justice leans on stick It's normal to see a statue of a woman in front of every Judicial building and all the courts in Nigeria.  The fact that she's a woman means she has motherly feelings. She's blindfolded, meaning she has no preference for one person over the other i.e she's not partial.  She's holding a sword in one hand and measuring scale on the other hand.   She quantifies your offense with the scale and uses the sword to punish you as appropriate, in a non partial way. In modern day parlance, she is referred to as ‘Lady Justice’,  However she is the Roman Goddess ‘Justitia‘, who is equivalent to the Greek Goddess Dike.
