Lagos School Building: See before collapse and after the collapse photos

It was an unfortunate moment around 10AM on March 13th, 2019 when a 3-storey building house in the Ita Faaji area of Lagos Island collapsed.

After the collapse, efforts and some agencies were deployed to save lives at the scene of the incident. Even though about 41 persons were saved, the number of casualties was unknown.

About the building, the ground floor was the crèche/KG and the third floor was the primary school while first and second floors were residential.

Photo: See the wedding dress a Nigerian designer reportedly collected N1.8m to make A Nigerian bride is currently crying foul after a Nigerian designer colleced N1.8 million to make the dress above. Uyo bus garage: Woman slumps at arrival  As reported by a co passenger. She said the woman’s husband brought her to Lagos park alive to board the vehicle going to Uyo.He kneww the woman wasn’t very strong while embarking on the long journey. Ondo, Borno, Edo, five others reject home treatment for COVID-19 patients

Amid the rising number of cases and the refusal of some persons who test positive for COVID-19 to go  to isolation centres, many states have said they will continue to treat the infected patients at isolation centres rather than resort to home treatment option. They noted that getting persons who had tested positive for the virus to the isolation centres remained one of their strategies to contain the spread of the deadly virus.  Lagos State had on Thursday said it was considering adopting home treatment option for patients with mild symptoms, noting that it would soon release the guidelines for the treatment option. The state Commissioner for Health, Prof Akin Abayomi, said the decision to consider home treatment for some COVID-19 patients became necessary because some residents who tested positive for the COVID-19 refused to go to the state isolation centres and had been practising self-treatment in various places.
