Michael Jackson’s dad Joe Jackson in hospital with Terminal Cancer.


Joe Jackson, father of late pop legend Michael Jackson and living legend Janet Jackson, is in the hospital with terminal cancer.

According to TMZ, family members have flocked to Joe’s bedside, as he has been battling cancer for a while and is now in the last stages.

His cancer is said to be untreatable, but TMZ says they have no idea how long he has left.

BREAKING: Passengers escape death as plane crash lands in Ilorin

  Following an incident by an aircraft in the fleet of one of the major airlines in the country, the runway of the Ilorin International Airport has been closed to traffic. Many passengers, including some highly-placed Nigerians, narrowly escaped death. All flights to Ilorin have also been cancelled until evacuation of the plane. The airline began operation from Ilorin Airport on June 16. According to investigation, the aircraft crash landed at about 9.30am on Friday morning in Ilorin from Abuja. The plane landed with a bang, which affected the cabin with luggage falling on passengers. It was gathered with the impact of the crash the plane could not taxi to the tarmac. In the last 24 hours, the runway of the airport had been closed to traffic. But all the traumatised passengers were successfully evacuated from the runway. ASUU Commences Total And Indefinite Nationwide Strike

The Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) has commenced an indefinite strike. According to the chairman of ASUU at Obafemi Awolowo University, Adeola Egbedokun, the strike is total and indefinite until the union’s needs are met. The strike is to protest the poor funding of Nigerian universities and alleged plan by the federal government to increase students fees and introduce an education bank. Led by its National President, Biodun Ogunyemi, ASUU declared the strike at the end of its National Executive Council (NEC) meeting late on Sunday. Weeks before the strike was announced, Mr Ogunyemi explained in an interview with PREMIUM TIMES why the lecturers were opposed to an education bank. “The Nigerian government experimented with it for 7-8 years; it failed. “So government had to set up a ministerial committee at the federal executive council to go and wind up the national education banking plan in 2001/2002, something they started in 1993. She pulled him close, stripped off her top and attempted to take the singer’s clothes off in the presence of his wife, Annie. Words can’t explain Annie’s reaction to the incident.
