The surprise birthday of Funke Akindele.


Nollywood actress Funke Akindele clocked 40 years yesterday August 24, 2017, and her husband Abdul Rasheed-Bello popularly known as JJCskillz along with family and close friends gave her a surprise party which she never expected.

Her husband took her out of the house two days before her birthday, to celebrate their wedding anniversary on August 23rd while her younger sister, Bimbo Demehin collaborated with him to plan the surprise birthday party for her.

Present at the event were her close friends, Denrele Edun, VJ Adams, Lolo Wazobia, Ogbolor, Mr and Mrs Gbadamosis and a host of others. Funke couldn't help but cry at a point in time as she saw the love shown to her by her husband and her friends. She felt so proud of them.

Child who went missing in Lagos returns after 5 years becoming black

This 12 year old girl identified as Ikimot Awojoju, who reportedly went missing 5 years ago has returned back to her family. Ikimot went missing in Lagos on July 23, 2014, on her way back from school. According to reports, Ikimot was living with her guardian, Ajoke Abass, in the Oyingbo area of Lagos, before she went missing. Her mother, Faidat Awojoju, had passed away in 2011 when Ikimot was just three years old. When she went missing, Ikimot’s guardian said she sold her valuables to raise the money needed to search for her but all efforts to find her proved abortive. Abass told PUNCH Metro that after two years, she stopped searching but kept on praying for the safe return of the girl.
