Only one person paid for the wedding of 50 girls.

A wealthy man in Yobe state, Mohammed Yakubu Jacob has paid for the wedding of 50  girls with their prospective suitors in Gashua town, Yobe state, yesterday May 21st

According to reports, these girls are too poor to organize a wedding themselves. In fact, most of them were children of Internally Displaced Parents. So Jacob Yakubu had to help them.

Just last month,this same wealthy businessman also organized a wedding for 40 girls with their poor suitors

When asked why he has been so philanthropic, especially in the case of these 50 young girls, he said he got tired of calls from the girls after they all found out about how he organized weddings for other people.

“THESE GIRLS WILL CALL ME CRYING FOR HELP THAT THEIR PARENTS HAVE NO MEANS TO MARRY THEM OFF. I KNOW HOW IT FEELS FOR A FATHER TO HAVE A GROWN UP DAUGHTER THAT IS DUE FOR MARRIAGE BUT HE DOES NOT HAVE MONEY TO DO THAT. SOME OF THE GIRLS EVEN LOST THEIR PARENTS AND I DON’T WANT THEIR DREAM TO REMAIN UNFULFILLED,”

Chief Medical Director, LAUTECH reveals the real cause of Davido's uncle Senator Isiaka Adeleke's death The Chief Medical Director, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology Teaching Hospital, Osogbo, Prof Akeem Lasisi has revealed the actual cause of the death of the Senator representing Osun-West senatorial district, Chief Isiaka Adeleke. Pregnant woman dies during labour at specialist hospital The family of late Chisom Jane Anekwe (nee Okereke) and LEAP Africa Alumni are demanding for justice after she suffered a questionnable death at the Magodo Specialist Hospital. She died on April 30 while delivering her third child, a boy after a prolonged labour. She initially gave birth to 2 daughters. This is her third. Unfortunately,the baby also died. Mercy Aigbe's husband remanded in kirikiri due to inability to meet bail conditions Mercy Aigbe‘s husband Lanre Gentry has been remanded in Kirikiri as he wasnt able to meet bail conditions. Lanre Gentry was arraigned at Ikeja magistrate court on 3 counts charge. He was granted bail in the sum of 500,000 naira and 2 sureties who live in Lagos and own properties in lagos. The case has been adjourned to  July the 12th, 2017. The hotelier couldn’t meet the bail terms, so he has been remanded in Kiri Kiri Prison.
