Buhari welcomes Chibok girls in Abuja


Buhari today has welcomed the Chibok girls in Abuja.  This follows the release of the girls which the president described as an exchange for Boko Haram suspects.





President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his deep gratitude to everyone who played a part in ensuring the success of this operation. This includes the Security agencies, the military, the Government of Switzerland, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and local and international NGOs
The released girls are among the over 270 girls abducted from their hostels at Chibok secondary school, Borno State in April 2014.
