Man sacrifices 6 year old son for money ritual.


Police in Ghana, have arrested a Abdul Salam, a 36 year old farmer who allegedly gruesomely murdered his son for ritual purpose. The suspect, Abdul Salam buried the child in a shallow grave in his farm.

This unfortunate incident occurred yesterday,Tuesday. A resident in an interview with Prestea-based Energy FM

said the little boy went missing on Monday and a search party led by the Unite Committee was constituted.

After a thorough search, they discovered the father of the young boy was complicit. The resident who was part of the manhunt indicated that, after the suspect had accomplished his mission, he dug a shallow grave in his farm and quickly buried his son there.


The resident said Abdul was escorted by the police to where he buried his son and was then asked to exhume the corpse. Upon interrogation, the suspect revealed that he butchered his son to use the head and legs for rituals. Abdul Salam is currently in police custody assisting in investigations.

Amid the rising number of cases and the refusal of some persons who test positive for COVID-19 to go  to isolation centres, many states have said they will continue to treat the infected patients at isolation centres rather than resort to home treatment option. They noted that getting persons who had tested positive for the virus to the isolation centres remained one of their strategies to contain the spread of the deadly virus.  Lagos State had on Thursday said it was considering adopting home treatment option for patients with mild symptoms, noting that it would soon release the guidelines for the treatment option. The Federal Government said on Wednesday the N30,000 minimum wage proposal contained in the report of the tripartite committee set up by the Federal Government was still a recommendation and had not been approved. Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, who spoke with State House correspondents after the weekly Federal Executive Council, said President Muhammadu Buhari would still study the report presented to him on Tuesday by the Chairman of the committee, Amal Pepple, before taking a decision on it. Pepple had while presenting the report on Tuesday disclosed that the committee recommended that the national minimum wage be increased from N18,000 monthly to N30,000. She also said her committee drafted a bill that the Federal Government would send to the National Assembly to effect the change. Hundreds of commuters were stranded and, at least, four people injured on Tuesday as a commercial bus, maneuvering near a fallen fuel tanker, burnt beyond recognition, blocking the ever-busy Oke Afa-Isolo Bridge in Lagos. The Vanagon bus carrying 14 passengers burnt at 6.30a.m. when it was ascending the bridge connecting Oke Afa with Isolo, Okota and some others in Oshodi-Isolo LGA. A witness at the scene said that four occupants of the bus were rushed to the Isolo General Hospital for treatment. The witness, who identified himself simply as a financial expert, was driving a 2005 Toyota and closely following the burnt bus. The witness, whose car was slightly affected by smoke at the rear, told NAN that the bus driver was among those rushed to hospital.
